Moles are growths on the skin that are usually brown or black. Moles can appear anywhere on the skin, alone or in groups. As the years pass, moles usually change slowly, becoming raised and/or changing color. Sometimes, hairs develop in the mole. Some moles may not change at all, while others may slowly disappear over time, although this is very rare.Mole Removal depend on the size and location.

Moles can be easily treated but the duration and type of procedure would largely depend on its size and location, such as :
CHEMICAL PEEL
Salicylic acid peel works by ‘peeling’ the formation of excess tissue on the surface of skin.
CRYOSURGERY
Using cold temperature to excise the tag from skin surface
CANTHARIDIN
Using a chemical based substance to excoriate the affected skin surface and treat the mole at the area
LASER CURETTAGE
The most effective of it all, electrosurgery burns the mole with an electric charge through the tip of a needle. It is good as it simply scrapes off the mole from its root.

How long does the procedure take ?
The procedure duration would depend on the size and location of the skin tag ,usually about 1-2 hours
Is it painful?
Well the procedure is aimed to provide excellent results with minimal pain. However usage of cry cautery and laser may cause a small ‘pinch’ during the procedure.
What are the side effect of these procedure ?
Some may experience redness, swelling and slight itchiness but with proper after-care advised by our trained doctors, this could be minimized.
