Mole are caused by aggregate of cells that are called melanocytes, and they make the pigment that gives skin its natural color. Mole may darken after exposure to the sun, during the teen years, and during pregnancy. Although most mole are non-cancerous, some may develop into skin cancer. Therefore it is advisable to consult our trained doctors to delineate the treatment of choice.
Mole Removal depend on the size and location. Mole are growths on the skin that are usually brown or black. Mole can appear anywhere on the skin, alone or in groups. As the years pass, mole usually change slowly, becoming raised and/or changing color. Sometimes, hairs develop in the mole. Some mole may not change at all, while others may slowly disappear over time, although this is very rare.
Mole can be the sign of melanoma. The deadliest form of skin cancer. Therefore some people are very concerned when they find a new mole on them. If you are an adult, or more than 21 years old, and you keep finding new mole on you, this is a legitimate cause of concern. Also, if you have mole that are larger than 3mm in size, it is wise to see doctors.
Basically, if you find a new mole or having an existing mole change its shape or form, it can be a cause for concern because of the risk of developing cancer from a mole. Best advice is to see the doctors first.
Melanoma, also known as malignant melanoma, is a type of skin cancer that develops from the pigment-producing cells known as melanocytes. Melanomas typically occur in the skin but may rarely occur in the mouth, intestines or eye (uveal melanoma).
